Lamont Johnson, former electric bassist, singer, arranger & composer of the 70’s Pop/R&B group, “Brainstorm” featured performing “Masta Lover” – one of the (8) compositions taken from his second solo effort (1980) entitled, “Mr. Bassman”. Lamont’s featured guests on this album are Harvey Mason, Jerry Peters, Paulinho Da Costa, Ernie Watts, Mike O’Neil, Charles Veal, James Gadson, David T. Walker, Tom Scott, vocalists Carol Hall and DJ Rodgers.
